Decisions, not policy
Our trainings focus on the pivot points employees need to make the most of their careers and benefits, not a detailed review of HR policy they can already read.

What attendees say
Excellent presenters! This helped me understand retirement options much better.
This was THE best class I’ve attended! Wow!
Highly recommend. The best FERS seminar I’ve attended!
Really enjoyed both presenters’ energy and knowledge of the materials. I know it’s your job, but you still gotta like it!
This is my second time taking this training, and I feel like I learned just as much or more the second time. Thank you so much for offering this service!
Great info. Engaging speakers. Gave me actionable ideas!
I want to express my thanks to the Federal Benefits and Retirement team. I brought my boyfriend to consult with them in January 2025. He retired at the end of February 2026, feeling confident that it’s the best decision he could make.
Great presentation and ability to answer questions. Looking forward to learn more in one on one review.
Excellent, the best I’ve attended.
Awesome seminar, very informative.

What agencies ask before booking
What does a training session cover?
The pivot points employees need to make the most of their careers and benefits, rather than a readout of HR policy they can already read. That means FERS, CSRS and CSRS Offset, TSP allocation, and the special provision rules for law enforcement and firefighters. We tailor the emphasis to who is actually in the seats.
What formats do you offer?
On-site for half or full day, online for 90 minutes with live Q&A and a recording for registrants, or hybrid, which is on-site for the people in the building and streamed for everyone else. We added hybrid during Covid and kept it because it works.
What does it cost the employees?
Nothing. Every session ends with the option of a one-on-one benefits review with a counselor, free to each employee and billed to nobody.
Are you set up to contract with federal agencies?
Yes. Our System for Award Management registration was completed in 2017. We have delivered training in 310 locations, covered 6 or more branches of government in a single year, and trained 4,790 DoD personnel.
Does training actually change retention?
Organizations that use our training services routinely have been able to cut employee turnover. The reported average from client organizations in post-training surveys is 30 percent higher retention.
Do your trainings meet OPM requirements?
Yes. Our trainings satisfy OPM directive BAL 11-104, which requires agencies to provide retirement training at the beginning, middle and end of an employee's career, at minimum. They may be used as part of your required Agency Retirement Financial Education Plan.
How do we get started?
Three steps. Tell us the group, meaning headcount, the mix of FERS and CSRS, any special provision employees and roughly when you want it. We send back a proposed agenda, format options and a quote within one business day. Then we deliver, and every attendee leaves able to book a free one-on-one review.
Still have a question? A counselor will answer it against your own record. Request a free review or call 210-660-4040.
